Meet The Founder
Mercedes Hanton is a SHRM-CP certified People and Talent leader with over a decade of experience supporting organizations across sectors, including startups, nonprofits, tech, and higher education. She collaborates with startups to strengthen their people infrastructure, design talent strategy, and implement scalable HR operations that support long-term growth.
She has led complex executive searches and supported onboarding, employee relations, and culture initiatives. She has also streamlined recruiting processes, implemented HR technology platforms, and built out processes that bring clarity to fast-moving teams. With a Master’s in Applied Psychology, Mercedes blends strategic insight with a deep understanding of organizational dynamics to help companies grow with intention.
Outside of work, Mercedes enjoys balancing life as a wife and proud boy mom of two. She has a love for thrifting, capturing candid moments through photography, and unwinding with compelling documentaries. A devoted fangirl of 90s and early 2000s R&B, she also draws strength and perspective from her faith, which grounds both her personal and professional life.
